Northern European rod prices stable, new increases expected
Northern European wire rod prices have remained flat this week amid some movement in the market, sources say. Most participants expect fresh hikes since mills will increasingly have to start restocking.
“The mills are losing money and they know that by dropping the price, they will not create a market, so I expect prices to go up,” one buyer from the Netherlands tells Kallanish.
