Northern European rod market expects hikes before year-end
Northern European wire rod prices have remained at the same level this week. However, some sources expect increases in the next 10-12 days, with new sales and demand from steel mills.
“Prices will go up before the Christmas holidays,” a buyer from the Netherlands tells Kallanish. “The demand from consumers was good and now there are new purchases. For the moment, it is unclear how much prices will increase, but they will.”
