North Korea’s claimed steel output remains highly dubious
The deputy chief manager of North Korea’s main steelworks, Chollima, has told Agence France Presse that the plant has been averaging production of 500,000 tonnes/year for the last three years. This figure seems highly unreliable however considering contradictory statements given just months ago, Kallanish notes.
