Nornickel to participate in new stainless steel project
Russian miner and nickel producer Nornickel has joined RNA-Holding LLC. This owns Russian Stainless Steel Company (RNA), which is implementing a project for the production of flat rolled products from stainless steel, Kallanish notes.
The move will allow Norilsk Nickel to significantly increase nickel sales on the domestic market, as well as integrate into the production of advanced processing products in the steel and alloys sector, the enterprise claims.
