NLMK USA sees 3% volume uptick in 2016
NLMK USA witnessed a 3% uptick in its 2016 sales, largely due to spikes in cold-rolled and galvanized sales.
The company sold 1.817 million tonnes in 2016, up 3% over the 2015 figure of 1.764mt, Kallanish notes.
Hot-rolled sales totalled 905,000t, down -3% year on year.
However, cold-rolled sales, totalling 544,000t, and galvanized sales, totalling 359,000t, both rose by 10% from last year.
