NLMK delivers new galv grade to Hyundai
NLMK has delivered a trial batch of high-strength hot-dip galvanised sheet to the Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus car manufacturing plant in St. Petersburg, the steelmaker tells Kallanish.
The new grade of steel, designated SGRC440 and classified as a high-tech steel, was previously supplied to the automotive plant by international steel producers. It is used in the production of interior panels for the Hyundai Solaris and Kia Rio models.
