NLMK to modernise La Louviere hot-rolling line
NLMK, the Russian-headquartered group with operations in Europe, is set to invest some €10 million ($12.4m) in its Belgian La Louviere site, Kallanish learns from sources.
The investment is expected to be mainly directed at the modernisation of the hot-rolling lines' automation system, together with the expansion of the mill’s product range. The plan was confirmed officially by the local economics minister.
