NLMK Kaluga rebar certified for sale in UK
NLMK-Kaluga has received certification for its rebar to be sold in the UK, Kallanish learns from the Russian steelmaker. The first shipment to the UK will take place in August.
NLMK-Kaluga posted a 23% on-year increase in crude steel production in the first half of 2016 to 640,000 tonnes (See Kallanish 17 August).
Sales of long products rose 5% year-on-year to 381,000t in H1, including 101,000t on export markets.
