NLMK confirms plan to cut jobs in Clabecq
NLMK has officially confirmed its intention to cut half of the jobs at its plate rolling mill located in Clabecq, Belgium, to initiate a restructuring project aimed at a return to profitability. The layoffs had been foreshadowed by Kallanish earlier this week.
Some 290 jobs are expected to be cut by the summer of 2019, with consultations with unions starting next week.
