NLMK builds briquetting plant to cuts costs, pollution

Russia's NLMK says it has started building a plant for steelmaking briquettes at its Lipetsk site. The project will enable the steel major to source raw materials for blast furnaces (BF) from BF waste, to cut pig iron production costs, and to reduce its environmental footprint.
