NLMK boosts energy efficiency of hydrogen production
Russia’ NLMK has begun commercial operation of a hydrogen unit that generates hydrogen from natural gas through vapour reforming at its VIZ-Steel facility in Yekaterinburg, where grain-oriented steel is produced.
Investment in the upgrading of hydrogen production at VIZ-Steel totalled approximately RUB 1.2 billion ($18.6 million), Kallanish learns from the steelmaker.
