NiWest granted major project status by Australian government
Australian miner Alliance Nickel’s NiWest nickel cobalt project has been awarded Major Project Status (MPS) by the Australian Federal Government, which recognises projects of national economic significance, Kallanish notes.
Alliance Nickel says in a statement that the MPS will provide the firm with access to the Major Projects Facilitation Agency, providing additional resources to assist streamlining a range of regulatory approvals for mine development.
