Nippon Yakin Kogyo fire halts stainless hot strip mill
Japanese stainless steel producer Nippon Yakin Kogyo has temporarily idled a stainless hot rolled coil line at its Kawasaki plant following a fire on 14 May. The company had reported strong financial results just days before the accident, Kallanish notes.
