Nippon Steel raises profit forecast despite sluggish market
Nippon Steel's operating profit hit a record high of JPY 541.7 billion ($3.68 billion) in the first half of fiscal year 2022 (starting April 2022), 91.7% higher than the company's August forecast and a 13.4% increase from the same period last year.
