Nippon Seisen sells less but profit surges

Japan’s Nippon Seisen has reported revenue of JPY 34.1 billion ($310.5 million) in the fiscal year through 31 March 2021 (FY20), down 2.3% year-on-year. But its net profit rose 30.85% y-o-y to JPY 297.66m, Kallanish notes. The decline in sales was mainly due to lower stainless steel wire sales in the first half of FY20.
