Nippon nabs Gulf of Mexico pipeline contract

Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation (NSSMC) and Mitsui & Co. have secured a contract for 600,000 short tons of large diameter pipe and plate for a pipeline linking Brownsville, Texas, and Tuxpan in Veracruz, Mexico.
