Ninggang operates transformed CDQ plant
Ningbo Iron & Steel (Ninggang) has completed the ultra-low emissions transformation of its coke dry quenching (CDQ) plant and put it into production, Kallanish notes.
The transformation was started on 20 March. With the improved desulphurisation process, its sulphur dioxide emissions concentration in the flue gas can be no more than 30mg/Nm³. This means it should be able to produce normally during periods of production restrictions.
