Ninggang caps blast furnace
Northwest China's Ningxia Iron & Steel (Ninggang) has capped the 1,580m³ blast furnace at its headquarters in Ningxia’s Zhongwei City, Kallanish notes.
Ninggang plans to dismantle two 600m³ BFs with a combined 1.4 million tonnes/year capacity for this project after the completion of the new BF. After commissioning, the 1,580m³ BF is expected to produce 1.37m t/y of hot metal. Total investment in this project is CNY 568 m…
