Ningbo Steel to recommission blast furnace in October

Ningbo Steel plans to commission its upgraded No.2 blast furnace in October, Kallanish notes. The project has entered the final phase of construction. The steelmaker is aiming to conduct hot testing of the 2,500 cubic-metre blast furnace's hot stoves in late August. The furnace will have a 2.1 million tonnes/year of iron capacity.
