Ningbo ships iron ore to Wuhan steel mills
A vessel carrying nearly 60,000 tonnes of iron ore left Zhoushan port on 11 February headed for Wuhan's Baowu Qingshan facility. After the outbreak of the Wuhan coronavirus, Zhoushan port in Ningbo city in China's Zhejiang province has been trying to maintain supplies of iron ore to Wuhan. This is intended to alleviate the problems facing local steel plants of a lack of raw materials, Kallanish notes.
