Ningbo Baoxin produces still thinner stainless strip
Ningbo Baoxin Stainless Steel has successfully produced stainless steel cold rolled ultra-thin wide strip in a thickness of 0.049mm. This is thinnest yet produced by the research team of its ultra-thin auto-sheet project, Kallanish notes.
The project, hot tested last November, is expected to eventually be able to produce stainless steel cold rolled ultra-thin wide strip of 0.03-0.6mm thickness and up to 1,000mm width (see Kallanish passim).
