Niedax sources emission-reduced steel from thyssenkrupp
Niedax, a producer of cable protection systems, has started sourcing and processing CO2-reduced coil from thyssenkrupp Steel, Kallanish learns.
The first coils from thyssenkrupp Steel were delivered to Niedax subsidiary Bandstahl-Service-Hagen. Including this delivery, Niedax has now introduced 1,000 tonnes of CO2-reduced steel into its procurement stream, it says. Parts of the stock have already been supplied to other Niedax subsidiaries.
