Nickel prices rise, stainless scrap stable: analyst
Stainless input materials will show slightly different trends over the coming months, according to a forecast by Austria-based consultancy SMR. While nickel prices appear to be rising slightly, chrome and molybdenum prices could go sideways or even fall somewhat, while scrap prices will most likely stay stable, says SMR’s Oliver Spaltmann.
