Nghi Son Steel starts rolling mill construction
Vietnam's Nghi Son Steel, located at Nghi Son Economic Zone in the central province of Thanh Hoa, has started construction of its steel rolling mill, Kallanish notes.
This mill is expected to produce 1 million tonnes/year of steel products, mainly rebar and wire rod. Technology suppliers Tenova and Danieli were contracted by the steelmaker in 2018 to supply a new caster and rolling mill for the project.
