New York City construction spending falls in 2020
Construction spending in New York City (NYC), New York, will fall from $60.6 billion in 2019 to $55.5 billion this year according to the New York Building Congress (NYBC). This is a yearly decline of $5.1 billion, Kallanish notes.
In its 2020-2022 NYC construction outlook, the NYBC expects total construction spending in NYC to reach $168.5 billion from 2020 through 2022.
