New Tiangang operates new 1,250cum blast furnace
China’s New Tiangang United Special Steel, a subsidiary of Tianjin-based New Tiangang Group, started to operate its new 1,250 cubic metre-blast furnace on Thursday last week, just one day after the commissioning of a 230 square metre-sintering plant, Kallanish notes.
The new BF was built after dismantling the company’s two old 500cum BFs at the plant in Ninghe Economic Development Zone.
