New Saudi shipyard advances with knowledge-transfer, licensing deal
International Maritime Industries (IMI) has signed a sub-contract agreement with partner Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) to build one 319,000 DWT Class Crude Oil Carrier, with delivery expected in October 2021.
The final customer is transportation and logistics company Bahri. IMI will subcontract the order to HHI which will carry out construction at its Ulsan facility.
