New Salzgitter chief takes office
Gunnar Groebler officially assumed the office of Salzgitter AG chief executive on Thursday. His appointment was announced and reported by Kallanish last October.
He replaces Heinz Jörg Fuhrmann, who retired upon expiry of his employment contract, as planned. Prior to joining Salzgitter, Groebler held executive positions at Vattenfall, an energy group with international operations, most recently as an executive member in charge of the Wind business area.
