New Fushun Steel announces replacement plan
China's new Fushun Steel in Liaoning province has announced its production equipment replacement plan through the Liaoning Industry and Information Commission website.
The steelmaker plans to build two 1,200 cubic-metre blast furnaces with 1.13 million tonnes/year of iron capacity for each, and one CISP smelting reduction furnace with 325,000 t/y of capacity. The construction period is from June 2023 to October 2025, and the first BF is expected to b…
