New duties could boost NLMK La Louvière output
The latest duties on HRC imports from Russia, could well lend support to production of the rolling plant in La Louvière controlled by Russian group NLMK, Kallanish understands from the company.
NLMK was slapped with a €53.50/tonne ($63.09/t) duty on its HRC imports from Russia to Europe last week. The group can also supply slabs to its re-rolling plants in Belgium however, making the most of the new trade barriers.
