New $40m auto blank JV forms in Alabama
A joint venture between Toyota Tsusho America Inc, Southern Mobility Products and Sumitomo Corp subsidiary SteelSummit Holdings have formed a $40 million steel blank venture in Huntsville, Alabama, Kallanish reports.
The JV - dubbed Madison Metal Processing - will primarily supply the nearby multi-billion-dollar Mazda Toyota Manufacturing assembly plant, which is projected to have an output of 300,000 vehicles/year.
