New Colombia adds new met coal reserves
US-based New Colombia Resources has acquired a new title to metallurgical and thermal coal reserves in central Colombia, Kallanish learns from a company announcement.
The new tract covers 2,930 acres and is serviced by the on-going Ruta del Sol mega-road project. New Colombia Resources currently has Colombian coal reserves of 15-17 million tonnes, as well as medical marijuana and aggregate assets.
Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
