New Beihai Chengde plans stainless capacity expansion
According to a local Guangxi source, Guangxi Beibu Gulf New Materials (originally Beihai Chengde) has progressed with expanding stainless steel bar and coil capacity, Kallanish notes.
It is considering starting construction of a new production line for combined 1 million tonnes/year of stainless bars and coils in 2020. At present, the project is still in the research phase.
