Carpenter's new Alabama facility to begin production in Q3
Carpenter Technology is entering the aerospace superalloy powder market with its new facility in Alabama, which is set to begin operations in the third quarter of this year.
Once production begins and qualifications are satisfied, the facility will supply United Technologies Corp’s (UTC) Pratt & Whitney Division with superalloy powder for up to 20 years, as per a previously signed agreement between the two companies.
