Negotiations continue for shuttered Trinidad steel mill
The future of the former ArcelorMittal plant in Trinidad and Tobago remains uncertain, as negotiations are becoming complicated, the company’s liquidator Christopher Kelshall has told local media. This comes after the preferred bidder, DRI producer Nu-Iron Unlimited, could not reach an agreement over the priority conditions on the acquisition of the mill with the state-owned energy and gas supply companies.
