Near-term recovery evades US OCTG
US oil country tubular goods held stable last week, but at depressed levels that likely won’t correct for some time, Kallanish reports.
Kallanish puts representative product P110 domestic welded casing at $1,200-1,250/short ton. Buy-side sources have said that they expect erosion to continue until at least the first quarter, when a fresh round of buying programmes will begin.
