NCLT approves Liberty House takeover of Adhunik Metaliks
The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Kolkata Bench, has approved Liberty House’s resolution plan to acquire Adhunik Metaliks.
The insolvent Indian steelmaker’s creditors approved the plan earlier this month (see Kallanish passim).
Adhunik Metaliks produces ferroalloys, billet, bars and rounds, and possesses a blast furnace, electric furnaces and a direct reduced iron plant. Steelmaking capacity is capable of being expanded to 1 million tonnes…
