NAS ups stainless base prices
US stainless producer North American Stainless (NAS) is lifting base prices for its 200, 300 and 430-series cold-rolled flats.
NAS will implement the increase by reducing the functional base price discount by two percentage points, Kallanish understands.
The base price for continuous mill and discrete plate products will be increased by a flat $0.03/pound. All pricing changes are effective with shipments beginning 1 March.
