Costlier imports fail to support Turkish HRC prices
Despite Turkish hot rolled coil import prices rising, domestic demand is not providing support for local pricing, market participants inform Kallanish.
HRC prices from Turkey's domestic mills stood mostly at around $620/tonne ex-works. As in the previous week, large volumes were rumoured to be available at $610/t ex-works. However, by the end of last week, some stockists reported the lowest price available for buyers in that segment was $635/t ex-works.
