Nangang restarts No.2 blast furnace from overhaul
China's Nanjing Iron & Steel (Nangang) has restarted its No.2 blast furnace last Friday following an overhaul.
During the maintenance process, construction contractor MCC WISDRI achieved the goal of horizontal displacement of 47.23 metres for the blast furnace with a height of 38.88m and a weight of 8,100 tonnes. This is the first project of its type in the world, Kallanish learns from the contractor.
