Mycron Steel returns to profit in third quarter
Malaysian cold rolled coil and steel pipe producer Mycron Steel has returned to profit in its third financial quarter ended 31 March, 2024, underpinned by higher margins, Kallanish notes.
The firm says in a bourse filing it recorded a net profit of MYR 7.44 million ($1.59m) in the third quarter as compared to a net loss of MYR 319,000 a year ago. The firm's revenue for the quarter surged 78.56% y-o-y to MYR 226m.
