Mughal Steel expects Covid-19-related sales disruption
Mughal Steel says sales volumes will be hampered in the June quarter as a result of Covid-19-related disruptions. In the March quarter sales rose 5% on-year to PKR 7.2 billion ($45.1 million) but net profit slumped -91% to PKR 33m.
The firm also recorded PKR 24.8m of export sales in the March quarter versus zero a year earlier, all of which went to Afghanistan.
