Mt Gibson sees strong six-month iron ore sales
Australian iron ore mining junior Mount Gibson has reported strong performance in the second half of 2020, Kallanish notes.
December-quarter sales of iron ore were 900,000 wet metric tonnes, of which 400,000t were Koolan Island fines and 500,000t were low-grade materials from the Mid-West business. Shipments in July-December 2020 – the first half of the financial year 2021 – were 2.3 million tonnes, in line with guidance.
