MRC Global wins contract for Sunrise Wind farm
MRC Global has won a contract from Aker Solutions to supply parts for the Sunrise Wind offshore project in New York state, Kallanish learns from the Texas-based pipe, valve, and fittings supplier.
MRC Global Norway AS will provide 1,000 valves and over 20,600 feet of piping and tubing for the offshore wind farm. Aker will supply a converter platform, which will include a steel jacket substructure and a topside platform deck to house electrical equipment.
