More Chinese long producers lower supply in October
More steel producers have announced maintenance plans after having entered the winter restriction period, which began on 1 October. In addition to the previous five steel mills which had done so, seven more mills have announced equipment overhauls which will reduce long product supply to the market, Kallanish notes.
