Moody's downgrades Usiminas corporate rating
Moody’s has downgraded Brazilian Usiminas` corporate family rating. The rating agency says that the steelmaker`s outlook was changed to negative from stable, according to a note monitored by Kallanish.
Usiminas' credit metrics will deteriorate throughout 2020 as a consequence of the decline in steel demand in Brazil, particularly in the automotive and capital goods end-markets following the coronavirus outbreak, Moody`s comments.
