Mongolia leads China's coking coal imports in July
China's coking coal imports rose sharply in July, with Russian and Mongolian coal remaining the major contributors for this year.
China's customs data showed that coking coal imports in July were 6.12 million tonnes, up 22.8% month-on-month and 62.2% year-on-year. The main source countries are Mongolia, Russia, Canada, the United States and Indonesia, accounting for 45.2%, 32.8%, 14.4%, 4.9% and 2.6% respectively.
