MMK's BFs break monthly pig iron production records
MMK's blast furnaces Nos 9 and 10 have achieved record volumes of pig iron production in April, the Russian steelmaker says in a statement monitored by Kallanish.
With 157,490 tonnes of pig iron produced in April, BF9 beat its previous record of 153,526t, set in July 2013. BF10 produced 156,549t of pig iron last month, beating its previous record of 154,421t from October 2015.
