MMK hits galv output record
Russia’s Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) achieved record hot-dip galvanised steel production at sheet rolling shop No.11 (LPC-11) in May, the company says.
The volume amounted to 38,014 tonnes, which is the maximum level of production for this unit since its launch, Kallanish notes. The previous record, set in August 2013, was 37,451t.
