MMK Metalurji to hike output in 2019
Russian steelmaker MMK plans to produce around 840,000 tonnes of flat steel products at its Turkish Metalurji subsidiary in 2019, company cfo Andrey Eremin said during MMK’s latest earnings conference call. The mill produced 767,000t of steel in 2018, down -17.1% on-year.
In the fourth quarter alone MMK Metalurji ramped up sales by 47% on-quarter to 202,000t, Kallanish notes.
